JOB OPPORTUNITY: DRIVER (3)

Project: TAZARA Project

Location: LUSAKA/MPIKA

Employment Type: Contract

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a leading international construction company, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Driver under the TAZARA Project.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport project personnel, visitors, and materials to designated locations.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with traffic regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.
• Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, and vehicle defects promptly.
• Assist with logistical and administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.
• Ensure the security and proper handling of company property and equipment during transportation.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Valid Driver’s License (Class B or higher).
• Minimum of three (3) years of proven driving experience, preferably on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to flexible working schedules.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be reliable, disciplined, and of high integrity.
• Experience working on railway, road, or large-scale construction projects.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
