Position Overview: Instructor – Mobile High Voltage & Instrumentation
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and hands-on training focused on high-voltage electrical systems, instrumentation, and industrial control technologies. This role demands the preparation of comprehensive lesson plans, practical exercises, and assessments to ensure trainees gain essential skills to safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Key Responsibilities for Instructor Mobile High Voltage Jobs in Lusaka
- Conduct classroom lectures and practical workshops covering electrical, high-voltage, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Develop and update training materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises tailored to learner needs.
- Instruct trainees on safe operation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of electrical and control systems.
- Demonstrate the use of diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and relevant software applications.

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Teaching or instructor certification is advantageous.
- Proven expertise in electrical, high-voltage, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Several years of practical experience in electrical or industrial maintenance environments.
- Previous experience in training, mentoring, or teaching roles is preferred.
Skills, Competencies, and Certifications
- Excellent communication, presentation, and instructional skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to assess trainee progress and deliver constructive feedback.
- Proficient organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and online training tools is a plus.
- Preferred certifications include instructor/trainer certification, occupational health and safety certification, and assessor or competency evaluation credentials.
Work Environment
