Role Overview – Clinical Quality Advisor Jobs in Lusaka

The Clinical Quality Advisor will play a pivotal role in enhancing clinical quality, compliance, and service excellence across MSZ programmes. This contract position requires a proactive professional who will ensure adherence to MSI clinical protocols while supporting clinical teams to deliver outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict compliance with MSI clinical protocols, policies, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular supervision, mentorship, and quality assurance audits to maintain service excellence.
• Support performance management and professional development of clinical staff.
• Lead and coordinate clinical quality improvement initiatives across programmes.
• Promote high standards of client care and effective service delivery.
• Support training of Ministry of Health and partner staff in family planning and reproductive health services.
• Monitor client satisfaction and contribute to continuous service improvement efforts.
• Drive innovation and operational efficiency within clinical teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Registered Medical Licentiate Practitioner or BSc Nurse (mandatory).
• Additional qualifications in Public Health or related fields are advantageous.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ relevant clinical experience, preferably in reproductive health or family planning.
• Proven experience in clinical quality assurance, supervision, and mentorship.
• Experience working with health programmes, NGOs, or public health systems is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to train and build capacity among healthcare providers.
• Experience managing clinical audits, client safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with Zambian health regulations and standards is an added advantage.
