Job description
VARIOUS EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Mulungushi International Conference Centre Limited (MICC), a member of the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Group of Companies, is Zambia’s premier conferencing, hospitality, and events destination. As part of our commitment to delivering exceptional services and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, we invite suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals to apply for the following positions:
1. ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT (1 POSITION)
Key Requirements
- Grade 12 School Certificate with Credits or better, including English and Mathematics.
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, ZICA, or a related field.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
2. CHEF DE PARTIE – ENTREMETIER (1 POSITION)
Key Requirements
- Grade 12 School Certificate with Credits or better, including English and Mathematics.
- Diploma in Food Production, Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Experience in vegetable, starch, and soup preparation.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality and food safety standards.
3. PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM (PAS) OPERATOR (1 POSITION)
Key Requirements
- Grade 12 School Certificate with Credits or better, including English and Mathematics.
- Certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Audio Visual Technology, Sound Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience in operating and maintaining Public Address Systems, audio-visual equipment, and conference sound systems.
- Knowledge of microphones, mixers, amplifiers, speakers, and related audio equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic technical faults during events and conferences.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure during live events.
- Previous experience in a conferencing, hospitality, broadcasting, or events environment will be an added advantage.
