Job description
JOB VACANCY: AFTER SALES MANAGER
Location: Kitwe, Zambia
Tsapo Industries Zambia Limited is a leading supplier of FAW Trucks, SINOTRUK, Ashok Leyland Trucks & Buses, Lovol Construction & Mining Equipment, and Golden Dragon Buses. To support our growth strategy, we invite applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the position of After Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide overall leadership and management of the Workshop and Spare Parts Departments.
– Drive after-sales revenue growth through service, maintenance contracts, spare parts sales, and customer retention programs.
– Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the customer base and increase market share.
– Ensure efficient workshop operations, service quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
– Manage inventory, availability, and sales performance of genuine spare parts.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet operators, mining companies, contractors, transporters, and institutional customers.
– Prepare departmental budgets, performance reports, and revenue forecasts.
– Lead, coach, and develop workshop and parts personnel to achieve business targets.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
– Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, or heavy equipment industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
– Proven experience in workshop management, spare parts operations, after-sales service, and business development.
Key Competencies
– Strong leadership and people management skills.
– Excellent customer relationship and negotiation abilities.
– Sound technical understanding of commercial vehicles, buses, and construction equipment.
– Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
– Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
