The Electoral Commission of Zambia is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced individual to fill two (02) vacant positions of Procurement Assistant for a period of twelve (12) months.
? ??????? ?? ??? ???
To assist in the procurement of goods, services, and works in accordance with organizational policies and procedures to ensure timely availability of quality and cost-effective supplies.

✅ Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and obtaining necessary approvals
✅ Request and collect quotations from approved suppliers and prepare comparative bid analyses
✅ Support the evaluation of suppliers based on price, quality, delivery, and service performance
✅ Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and services
✅ Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and filing systems
✅ Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinate with stores or logistics unit for replenishment
✅ Ensure procurement processes comply with internal controls, financial regulations, and procurement guidelines
✅ Support in the preparation of procurement reports and documentation for audits and management review
✅ Liaise with suppliers, service providers, and internal departments to resolve procurement-related queries
✅ Perform any other related duties as assigned

✅ Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
✅ CIPS Level IV or ZIPS Level IV
✅ Valid Membership of ZIPS
✅ Good knowledge of SAP or any other ERP System
✅ One (01) year post-qualifying relevant experience in procurement
✅ Experience in a quasi-government institution is an added advantage
