1. Bachelor of Science Lecturer – Environmental Health (1 Position)

Role Overview: This position involves teaching undergraduate courses, conducting research, providing consultancy services, and actively participating in academic activities at the university.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures for full-time, part-time, distance, and online classes
• Prepare comprehensive course outlines, lesson plans, and teaching materials
• Develop and conduct research programs within the field
• Supervise and assess student performance
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic content creation
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• Strong research capabilities and report compilation
• Academic and professional leadership qualities
• Expertise across all five pillars of Environmental Health
• Proficiency in computer applications
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health
• Master’s degree in Environmental Health or a related field
• Qualification in teaching methodology
• Computer literacy
• Minimum age of 25 years
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Mandatory professional membership

2. Bachelor of Science Lecturer – Public Health (2 Positions)

Role Overview: Similar to the Environmental Health lecturer role, this position focuses on teaching, research, consultancy, and academic participation at the undergraduate level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct lectures for full-time, part-time, distance, and online students
• Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, and instructional materials
• Lead and develop research initiatives
• Supervise and evaluate student progress
• Support curriculum design and module development
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications:
