CCM invites applications from experienced candidates for the following roles:

Crane Operator (3 Vacancies)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile, overhead, and fixed cranes safely and efficiently in line with operational plans.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections on cranes and lifting equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Adhere strictly to approved lifting procedures and safety protocols during all lifting activities.
• Maintain clear communication with riggers, signalers, and supervisors to coordinate safe operations.
• Monitor crane stability, ground conditions, and weather to prevent hazards during crane usage.
• Report any equipment defects or unsafe conditions promptly to maintenance and safety teams.
• Keep detailed records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Comply fully with company safety standards and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Valid Crane Operator Certificate issued by a recognized institution.
• At least three years of crane operating experience in mining, construction, or industrial settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of lifting operations and safety procedures.
• Physically fit and capable of working under demanding mining conditions.

Mechanical Fitter (2 Vacancies)

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Craft Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Fitting or a related technical field.
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in mining or heavy industry maintenance.
• Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment efficiently.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
