This role covers all phases from market validation and pilot testing to scaling operations and managing profitability across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities for Hub Manager Jobs in Lusaka Market Launch: Lead the full expansion process including market validation, site acquisition, and operational go-live of new hubs. Customer Acquisition: Implement aggressive door-to-door sales campaigns aiming to secure over 150 active members within eight weeks of launch. Retention & Account Management: Enhance customer experience by engaging churned customers and resolving service issues to maintain a stable user base. Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and train new Hub Managers and field agents to develop a high-performing local team. Operations & Profitability: Train team members on core operations to sustain hub growth and ensure long-term site profitability. Technical Collaboration: Work closely with Field Service Engineers to ensure smooth technical integration and prompt resolution of issues. Market Intelligence: Gather local consumer insights and competitive data to tailor sales strategies to community-specific cultural contexts. Performance Tracking: Utilize data-driven methods to monitor hub metrics, evaluate field performance, and implement improvements to meet sales targets. Qualifications and Traits 3 to 5 years of experience in field-based sales, customer acquisition, and customer experience management. Proven leadership skills managing and coaching teams, preferably frontline sales or field agents. Entrepreneurial and results-oriented mindset, comfortable working in ambiguous, early-stage expansion settings. Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with cultural sensitivity and respect for local community dynamics. Willingness to travel extensively and relocate across multiple African markets as required. Passion for renewable energy access and women’s economic empowerment aligns with the mission.
