Sales Representative – Veterinary products

Job description

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative – Veterinary Products to join our team. This is a mid-entry level position suited to candidates with relevant qualifications and some industry experience who are looking to build a career in veterinary and animal health sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell veterinary medicines, vaccines, feed additives, and other animal health products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, veterinary practitioners, agro-dealers, and other customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Provide technical product information and support to customers.
• Achieve sales targets and prepare regular sales reports.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Participate in product demonstrations, field visits, and promotional activities.
• Ensure timely collection of customer payments where applicable.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Animal Health, Livestock Production, or a related field.
• Should be a paid up member of the Veterinary Association of Zambia
• 2 years of relevant experience in veterinary sales, animal health, veterinary practice, or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Good knowledge of livestock production and animal health products.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
• Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
