Aarvik Environmental Ltd is a Zambian environmental, sustainability, ESG, health and safety consulting firm committed

to advancing ESG excellence across industries.

We support clients across the mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, conservation, agriculture, and industrial

sectors through the provision of environmental management, occupational health and safety, ESG advisory,

sustainability reporting, climate change solutions, greenhouse gas accounting, biodiversity management, ISO

management systems, regulatory compliance, and capacity-building services.

As our portfolio of projects continues to grow, we are seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals to join our

pool of Associate Consultants. Successful candidates will be engaged on a project-by-project basis to support

assignments across Zambia and the wider region.

1. HSE Consultant (2 Positions)

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Science, or related field

* NEBOSH International General Certificate (Minimum)

* NEBOSH Diploma (Added Advantage)

* ISO 45001:2018 Lead Auditor Certification

* ISO 45001:2018 Internal Auditor Certification

Experience & Competencies

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health and safety management

* Experience developing and implementing ISO 45001 Management Systems

* Experience conducting HSE audits, inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations

* Experience supporting certification and recertification audits

* Knowledge of Zambian health and safety legislation and international best practice

* Strong report writing, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills

2. Environmental Consultant (1 Position)

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resources Management, Ecology,

Forestry, Climate Change, Geography, or related discipline

* Master’s Degree will be an added advantage

* ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification

* ISO 14001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification

Mandatory Professional Certifications

* Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV)

* Carbon Accounting and GHG Quantification

* Climate Change or Sustainability-related Certification

Experience & Competencies

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental management and sustainability consulting

* Experience conducting Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs)

* Experience developing and implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

* Experience in ESG reporting and sustainability frameworks

* Experience in climate risk assessments and adaptation planning

* Experience in carbon accounting, GHG inventories, emissions quantification, and climate reporting

* Familiarity with IFRS S1 and IFRS S2 Sustainability Disclosure Standards

* Knowledge of biodiversity conservation, environmental compliance, and regulatory permitting

* Strong technical report writing and project management skills

3. Quality Assurance Consultant (1 Position)

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Management, Industrial Management, or related

field

* ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification

* ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification

Experience & Competencies

* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Management Systems

* Experience developing, implementing, and auditing ISO 9001 Management Systems

* Experience conducting process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives

* Experience supporting certification audits

* Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles

* Excellent documentation and analytical skills

General Requirements

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

* Professional consulting experience within mining, infrastructure, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, conservation,

or industrial sectors

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to facilitate training workshops and stakeholder engagements

* Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

* High ethical and professional standards

* Willingness to travel nationally and regionally when required
