About the Software Developer Intern Role As a Software Developer Intern at Cyber Express, you will be an active contributor, working closely under the guidance of our Lead Architect. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to develop, test, and deploy features across multiple live systems. The role is tailored for candidates eager to deepen their expertise in the Laravel framework while gaining hands-on experience with iOS and Android integration, including support for legacy platforms. Key Responsibilities for Software Developer Intern Jobs in Lusaka Develop and maintain web-based Management Information Systems (MIS) using Laravel. Support mobile app feature development using Swift for iOS and connect these to centralized back-end systems. Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between web and mobile platforms. Manage and optimize MySQL and PostgreSQL databases leveraging Laravel Eloquent ORM. Ensure application compatibility with legacy operating systems, such as iOS 12. Produce clear technical documentation outlining system architecture and user workflows. Qualifications and Skills Required Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, ICT, or a related engineering discipline. Solid foundational knowledge of PHP with Laravel framework and JavaScript. Demonstrable interest in mobile app development using Swift, SwiftUI, or Flutter. A full-stack mindset with the ability to understand both front-end user experience and back-end logic. Self-motivated, capable of independent research, and comfortable working in a remote-first environment to meet deadlines.
