Role Overview: Sales Team Leader Jobs in Lusaka Our client seeks motivated sales team leaders to coordinate and supervise sales agents across assigned territories. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment focused on renewable energy solutions. Candidates will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and fostering strong agent relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage sales agents within the designated territory or market segment. Build and maintain strong business relationships with agents to achieve sales targets. Organize and oversee meetings, activations, prospection activities, and promotional events. Implement zoning strategies based on feasibility studies. Collaborate with regional management and sales support to execute pilots, product launches, promotions, and trade shows. Ensure consistent product availability across shops and agents. Manage stock reconciliation, enforce FIFO inventory principles, and uphold a zero “lost units” policy. Supervise stockist operations and ensure timely resolution of tickets within service level agreements. Oversee reverse logistics processes within the assigned territory. Monitor agent performance, conduct PJP reviews, and provide coaching and mentoring. Recruit, train, and manage new agents and scouts, including managing agent exits. Serve as the administrative lead for agents, handling performance tracking and disciplinary matters. Report any fraud or tampering issues promptly. Qualifications and Experience Minimum Grade 12 Certificate. Proven experience supervising or leading field sales teams, agents, or promoters. Strong ability to recruit, train, and manage field agents effectively. Excellent coaching, mentoring, and team development skills. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in FMCG, renewable energy, telecommunications, or direct sales is advantageous. Competence in territory management.
