About the role:

Our Client is looking to recruit a Store Manager for one of our agro retail stores based in Chililabombwe. This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong control over sales, stock, cash handling, and staff supervision. We are specifically looking for disciplined, accountable individuals who can manage a store independently and deliver consistent performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving daily and monthly sales performance
  • Ensuring availability of key agro products (fertilizer, seed, chemicals, etc.)
  • Managing stock levels, preventing shrinkage and expired stock
  • Enforcing strict cash control procedures
  • Supervising store staff and maintaining discipline
  • Maintaining store cleanliness, organization, and audit standards

Desired Skills and Experience 

  • Proven experience managing a retail store (agro, FMCG, hardware, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of stock management and basic inventory control
  • Experience handling cash and daily reconciliation
  • Ability to supervise and manage staff effectively
  • Disciplined, accountable, and able to work with minimal supervision
