JOB ADVERTISEMENT: ACCOUNTANT

Favour Investments Limited’s Favour Food Palace, a fast-growing fast food restaurant based in Chipata, Eastern Province, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Maintain accurate financial records and produce timely financial reports.

Ø Manage cost accounting processes, including food cost analysis and margin tracking.

Ø Prepare and monitor budgets, identifying variances and recommending corrective action.

Ø Track daily expenses, reconcile accounts, and ensure proper documentation.

Ø Oversee stores management, inventory controls, and stock reconciliations.

Ø Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal financial policies.

Qualifications & Experience:

ü Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

ü Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).

ü ZAQA certified Academic qualifications

ü Demonstrated experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and expense tracking.

ü Proven ability to manage stores/inventory in a food service or retail setting is a strong advantage.

ü Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

ü High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines.
