Job description

OneLife is a licensed long term (Life) insurance provider in Zambia. Regulated by the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) OneLife specializes in Life and Health Insurance. OneLife requires, a versatile, dynamic, self-motivated, highly credible, and suitably qualified individuals to fill the vacant positions below.

 

1.)  Membership Consultant

 

Job Description Summary

·       Registering all member application forms when received

·      Underwriting of all forms

·      Loading new business and member application forms timely and accurately

·      Activation of new members and inclusions

·      Deactivation of members

·      Communicating membership rules to clients

·      Conducting membership reconciliations

·      Handle all client related queries and Correspondence and escalate to relevant department when necessary

·      Continually improve and maintain high service levels

·      Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

·      Deliver client-centric processes and solutions

·      Attend to walk in clients and provide the necessary assistance

·      Develop and maintain productive and collaborative working relationships with peers and stakeholders

·      Take ownership for driving own career development

·      Positively influence and participate in change initiatives

·      Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency

·      Manage financial and other company resources under his or her control

 

·      Qualification and Experience

·      Must have at least a first degree in Insurance or business-related qualification.

·      Diploma in Insurance (added advantage)

·      At least 2–3 years experience in insurance related role.

·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·      Ability to coach and motivate teams.
