Key Responsibilities for Remote Sales Intern Jobs in Lusaka Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels such as newspapers, TV and radio adverts, online platforms, and industry databases. Outbound Outreach: Conduct high-volume cold calling, emailing, and messaging to engage prospective customers. CRM Management: Track and update leads and sales pipelines using CRM software like HubSpot or Salesforce, or personal tracking tools. Customer Interaction: Convert inbound inquiries into meetings by educating prospects about our products and services. Sales Support: Assist sales executives with preparing pitches, proposals, and presentations. Reporting: Monitor daily and weekly sales metrics and compile performance reports. Training Participation: Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and role-play workshops to enhance sales skills. Qualifications and Requirements Qualification in any field; business or marketing studies are preferred. Previous sales, telecalling, or customer service experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong motivation to learn and develop sales competencies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Teams. Highly organized, proactive, resilient, and comfortable with cold calling. Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace suitable for remote work. Availability to commit 10 to 30 hours per week to meet sales targets.
