Job description
Position Title:
Foreman
Reports To:
Site Manager / Project Manager
Job Purpose:
To supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards, project specifications, and deadlines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise workers and subcontractors on site.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor work progress.
- Ensure all works are carried out according to drawings and specifications.
- Maintain discipline and productivity among workers.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor attendance and report manpower requirements.
- Enforce health and safety regulations on site.
- Report accidents, damages, and delays immediately.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and management.
- Ensure quality workmanship at all times.
- Prepare daily site progress reports.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work site.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Certificate or Diploma in Construction or related field is an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a Foreman in construction or related works.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good knowledge of site safety procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
