Job description

• ZAEPD is a registered OPD under the registrar of society act who is also registered with ZAPD and affiliated to ZAFOD with the objective to lobby and advocating for Education and Employment rights for Persons with disabilities and more especially those with intellectual Disabilities.
• The organization is funded by NAD and Government of Zambia is here requesting for quotations from consultants to carry out the Development of a Tool for Direct Self-Employment for Persons with disabilities more especially those with intellectual disability.

·      The Consultant will develop Economic Empowerment (EEP) Direct Self-Employment tool to safeguard the resources that will go towards technical support to graduate with PWIDs through trainings. This Tool will guide persons with disabilities on how they understand their rights on direct or indirect employment and how they should run a business in order to be self-sustained.

• The consultancy duration will 20days, 16 days to develop the tool and 1 day for testing and validating,2days Training of staff and 1day to hand over to ZAEPD.
• The consultancy will commence after 14 days of this advertisement and upon appointing the successful consultant.
• Qualifications.

Master’s in project management, entrepreneurship or any related field coupled with 6 years’ experience or understanding of disability employment rights, inclusive and Direct self-employment.
