Job description
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented candidate to fill the vacant position of Stores / Warehouse Assistant at our concrete plant in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials while ensuring proper stock control and adherence to warehouse procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Grade Twelve Certificate
- ZIPS or CIPS Qualification
- Male or Female candidates are encouraged to apply
- 1–2 years of work experience in a busy warehouse or stores environment
- Ability to understand warehouse procedures
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Honest, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and issuing stock items
- Maintaining accurate stock records
- Assisting with stock counts and inventory management
- Ensuring proper storage of goods in the warehouse
- Following warehouse and safety procedures
- Reporting damaged or missing stock to management
- Assisting in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the stores area
