Position Overview

As an IT Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain hardware and software installations. This full-time position requires a proactive individual capable of working effectively under pressure and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities for IT Technician Jobs in Lusaka

• Provide expert guidance and training to system users on hardware and software applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system outages promptly.
• Install, configure, and maintain all IT hardware across multiple sites.
• Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets efficiently.
• Support the setup and commissioning of new sites nationwide.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor and maintain IT equipment.

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology or Information Systems.
• At least two years of practical experience in IT support or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with advanced computer literacy.
• Excellent communication abilities and professional telephone etiquette.
• Customer-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Zambia.
• Valid driving license required.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Competent in data analysis.
