Key Responsibilities for Truck Driver Jobs in Ndola
- Strictly adhere to all Zambian road safety regulations and company driving policies to ensure safe and efficient transport operations.
- Promptly report any incidents, delays, or route challenges to management to facilitate timely resolutions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle, completing daily inspection and check reports accurately.
- Possess basic mechanical knowledge to identify minor vehicle issues and perform routine maintenance checks.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid CE driving license with the ability to operate manual transmission Howo trucks, including flatbed and tipper variants.
- Minimum of two years’ professional experience driving heavy trucks in a similar role.
- Police clearance certificate demonstrating a clean legal record.
- Reference letter(s) supporting your previous work experience and reliability.
- Passport-sized photographs for identification and administrative purposes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Zambian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and local routes.
- Strong communication skills and effective time management to meet delivery schedules.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety awareness and compliance with company driving policies.
- Applicants must be 30 years of age or older.
