Position Overview – Accountant Jobs in Solwezi

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth financial operation of the mining project. Your expertise will support timely reporting and effective management of project expenditures, payroll, and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track all project-related expenditures, maintaining comprehensive financial documentation
• Prepare detailed operational and financial reports for management review
• Manage payroll schedules, ensuring accurate tracking of working hours
• Review and verify invoices to maintain financial accuracy
• Record all cash inflows and outflows meticulously
• Provide timely and clear financial updates to project management

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualifications such as ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly advantageous
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project accounting, payroll management, or financial reporting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Excellent analytical abilities, organizational skills, and effective communication
• Ability to work independently with integrity and professionalism
• Must have personal accommodation in Solwezi
