Jacaranda Trust School is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced and visionary individuals for the position of Head Teacher. The school is seeking a dynamic leader who is passionate about academic excellence, disciplined administration, and holistic development of learners.

Key Responsibilities
– Provide effective academic and administrative leadership to the school.
– Supervise teaching and non-teaching staff, ensuring high performance and professionalism.
– Oversee curriculum implementation, assessment and continuous improvement.
– Ensure a safe, supportive and productive learning environment.
– Promote strong communication and positive relationships among staff, learners and parents.
– Manage school operations, budgeting and resource allocation.
– Uphold the school’s values, policies and strategic goals.

Requirements
– Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent.
– Grade 12 Certificate with 5 O Levels.
– Minimum of 5 years teaching experience and 3 years leadership experience, such as Head of Department, Deputy Head or similar role, in each level.
– Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
– Proven ability to manage staff, learners and school operations effectively.
– Registered and licensed with the Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ).
– High levels of integrity, professionalism and commitment to learner success.
– Must be computer literate.
– Valid driving license.
– Should be between 35 and 60 years of age.
