Position Overview

As a Territory Officer, you will report directly to the DTH Managing Director and be responsible for all sales activities in your assigned territory. You will develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve company sales targets and profitability. Your leadership will guide resellers and salesmen, enhancing channel partner performance and expanding the customer base in alignment with company values.

Key Responsibilities for Territory Officer Jobs in Copperbelt

• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans and sales strategies to meet company goals and profitability targets.
• Recruit, manage, and oversee salesmen across multiple regions to ensure strong team performance.
• Drive the growth and development of channel partners including resellers and distributors.
• Create targeted action plans for resellers and overall sales channels to identify and convert sales leads effectively.
• Organize and lead trade marketing activities such as roadshows, trade fairs, and exhibitions to boost brand awareness.
• Manage all below-the-line promotional materials, including posters, banners, product displays, and shop branding, to maintain strong brand visibility.
• Identify and develop strategies to penetrate new markets within the territory.
• Support the development and execution of marketing plans as required.
• Provide timely performance feedback and competitive pricing proposals to senior management.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive proposal presentations to potential clients and partners.
• Control expenses to align with budgetary guidelines and uphold company policies and ethical standards.
• Recruit, test, and onboard resellers and distributors in accordance with senior management criteria.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

The ideal candidate for territory officer jobs in Copperbelt will possess:

• 2 to 3 years of experience selling related products, preferably in a similar industry.
• A degree in Business or a related field.
• Registration with the Zambia Institute of Marketing.
• Strong communication skills in English and at least one local language, preferably Nyanja or Pemba.
• Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to follow through creatively and persistently to achieve results.
• Capability to perform well under pressure.
• A valid driver’s license.
