About the Role

As an OBC / Vehicle Tracking Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our fleet. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor vehicle locations using GPS systems, manage driver performance, and enforce company policies to maintain high standards of compliance and safety.

Key Responsibilities for Vehicle Tracking Officer Jobs in Lusaka

• Track vehicle locations accurately using GPS technology.
• Monitor and evaluate driver performance to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure strict adherence to company regulations and safety standards by all drivers.
• Identify and respond promptly to on-road exceptions or incidents, implementing corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency responses and communicate effectively with drivers, operations teams, and management.
• Prepare and present comprehensive daily management reports to support decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma from CILT or a University degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication and analytical skills to interpret tracking data and driver reports.
• Proficient IT skills with hands-on experience using Mix-Telematics or Geotab GPS systems.
• Good geographic knowledge of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
• Background in road transport is preferred but not mandatory.
