Job description

Goldenlay Agri Limited is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join its team in Luanshya under the Operations / Farm Development department.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will support land clearing, digging and trenching, and earthmoving operations. The role is key to agricultural and infrastructure development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for digging, trenching, land clearing, and earthmoving.
• Assist with land preparation for farming and infrastructure.
• Load soil, rocks, and debris into trucks or designated areas.
• Carry out bush cleaning.
• Perform routine inspections and basic equipment maintenance.
• Follow all safety procedures and site rules.
• Work closely with ground crew for safe and accurate operations.
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating an excavator.
• Valid equipment operator certification.
• Grade 12 Certificate is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and site plans.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
