Job Purpose
To support the Internal Audit function by conducting both financial/operational audits and information systems audits in order to provide independent assurance on the effectiveness of governance, risk management, internal controls, compliance, and information systems within the Corporation. The role is responsible for evaluating financial, operational, and IT controls to ensure compliance, safeguard assets, strengthen cybersecurity, and improve operational efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
– Financial and operational audits.
– IT and systems audits.
– Risk management and compliance.
– Systems and process improvement.
– Reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Minimum Qualifications
– Grade 12 Certificate with five O Levels including Mathematics and English.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Auditing, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related field.

Professional Qualifications / Certifications
Applicants must possess at least one relevant professional qualification or certification such as:
– ZICA, ACCA, or CIMA.
– CIA, CISA, or CISSP.
– COBIT.
– ISO/IEC 27001.
– Other relevant audit and IT governance certifications.

Experience Required
– Minimum five years relevant experience in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Systems Audit, or Risk Management.
– Experience in the insurance or financial services sector will be an added advantage.
– Experience in audit software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools is desirable.
