SINOMINE RESOURCEGEOLOGICAL ENGINEERING CO.LTD is currently seeking qualified professionals for geologist jobs in Chambishi, Copperbelt, Zambia. This contract position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 ZMW. The successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing geological investigations that support mining, environmental, and construction projects in the region.

Position Overview for Geologist Jobs in Chambishi

The Geologist will be responsible for examining rocks, minerals, soil, and underground water to gain insight into geological conditions. This role involves conducting detailed fieldwork, collecting and analyzing samples, and preparing comprehensive geological reports. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and environmental scientists to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform geological field mapping and surveys across various sites.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret rock, soil, and mineral samples.
  • Develop geological maps, detailed reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
