Role Overview: Content Marketing Manager Jobs in Lusaka

As the Content Marketing Manager, you will own and scale Zimworx’s organic growth strategy by leveraging SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), local authority (GEO), and AI-driven search technologies. You will identify competitive search opportunities and content gaps while optimizing website structure, metadata, and user experience to maximize conversions. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, you will develop and execute comprehensive content roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the company’s organic growth initiatives across SEO, AEO, GEO/local authority, and AI/LLM search platforms.
  • Analyze competitive search landscapes to uncover content opportunities and develop effective ranking strategies.
  • Optimize website architecture, including metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and Core Web Vitals.
  • Drive website UX enhancements, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and testing efforts.
  • Create and manage annual content roadmaps that support revenue and business goals.
  • Collaborate on website rebranding and optimization projects with cross-functional teams.
  • Produce high-impact content such as blogs, landing pages, guides, gated assets, and SEO-focused materials.
  • Refresh evergreen content to boost visibility and conversion rates.
  • Translate complex topics into engaging thought leadership content tailored for the market.
  • Align content initiatives with sales enablement, demand generation, and product marketing efforts.
  • Lead webinar strategies including topic selection, speaker preparation, promotion, and follow-up assets.
  • Support event content development, including presentations, booth materials, and educational collateral.
  • Repurpose event content into various formats such as blogs, social media posts, email campaigns, and nurture sequences.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 4 to 6 years of content marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, HealthTech, or fast-paced digital growth environments.
  • Expertise in SEO, AEO, AI search optimization, keyword research, backlink strategies, and analytics reporting.
  • Proficient with WordPress and SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Surfer, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan and execute complex content strategies effectively.
