Role Overview for Assistant Marketing Manager Jobs in Lusaka
The Assistant Marketing Manager will be instrumental in crafting and implementing marketing strategies that build brand equity and stimulate business growth. This full-time position demands a proactive, results-focused individual comfortable managing a broad spectrum of marketing activities including digital campaigns, content creation, event coordination, and partner relations. Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy & Brand Management: Assist in developing marketing plans aligned with corporate goals and ensure consistent brand representation across all platforms and physical assets.
- Content & Digital Marketing: Manage creation of engaging content for digital and physical channels; lead video marketing projects such as client testimonials and product education.
- Event Management & Partner Engagement: Organize and execute corporate and partner events, managing logistics, branding, and communications to maximize impact.
- Communications & Public Relations: Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders; support internal communications and PR efforts to strengthen industry presence.
- Market Research & Analytics: Conduct competitive analysis, monitor marketing performance metrics, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B or technology sectors.
- Proven skills in digital marketing, content development, and event management.
- Strong project management capabilities and experience engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working across diverse African markets is advantageous.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
- Ability to strategically plan and execute marketing initiatives efficiently and on schedule.
- Exceptional storytelling and content creation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing trends, analytics, and automation tools.
- Experience with marketing operations, video marketing, and brand storytelling.
- French language proficiency is a plus, especially for engagement in North and West Africa.
