Azam Media Zambia Limited is a member of the Bakhresa Group, one of East and Southern Africa’s most respected conglomerates.

We deliver HD satellite TV, digital terrestrial television and OTT streaming services to subscribers across Zambia. We are building a

creative, high-performing team to drive our brand and subscriber growth and are looking for a talented Graphics Designer to help

tell our story.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly talented Graphics Designer to join our team in Lusaka. The successful candidate will be the creative

engine behind Azam Media Zambia’s visual identity, responsible for creating compelling visual assets including static graphics and

motion graphics, and working closely with the marketing, content and product teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▸ Work closely with marketing, content and product teams to understand project briefs and translate them into compelling visuals.

▸ STATIC DESIGN — Design marketing materials: banners, brochures, posters and social media graphics

▸ STATIC DESIGN — Develop branding elements: logos, colour palettes and typography.

▸ STATIC DESIGN — Prepare layouts for print and digital platforms.

▸ STATIC DESIGN — Ensure visual consistency across all assets.

▸ MOTION DESIGN — Create animations, motion graphics and video content.

▸ MOTION DESIGN — Produce explainer videos, advertisements and short-form content.

▸ MOTION DESIGN — Add visual effects, transitions and sound synchronisation.

▸ MOTION DESIGN — Edit video content for different platforms including YouTube and Instagram

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

ESSENTIAL

▸ Grade 12 School Certificate (O-Level) minimum

▸ Diploma in graphic designing or creative

Digital Media

▸ Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign

and Premiere Pro

▸ Minimum 5 years professional graphic design experience

▸ Portfolio of commercial design work — must be submitted with

application

ADVANTAGEOUS

▸ Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation

▸ Broadcast or media design experience — on-screen graphics,

channel packaging.

▸ Social media content design — platform-specific formats and

dimensions

▸ Experience managing multiple projects to tight deadlines
