Job description
The Clinical and Wellness Officer is responsible for the delivery and coordination of primary healthcare, emergency first response, and workforce wellness services across project sites in Zambia, with cross-border operational support into the Democratic Republic of Congo.

- Diploma or Degree in Clinical Medicine, Nursing, or a related healthcare field
- Valid and active HPCZ and/or GNC registration
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in occupational health, emergency response, site clinics, or remote healthcare environments
- Certified training in counselling, psychosocial support, or mental health support will be an added advantage
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ALS, Trauma Care, or Emergency First Aid certification advantageous
- Experience in primary healthcare, first aid, occupational health, wellness programmes, or community healthcare initiatives
- Strong clinical judgement, interpersonal, counselling, and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently in remote and high-pressure operational environments
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Fluency in English and Bemba
- Must be a Zambian National.
