Mighty Fin, a partner in this initiative, is currently hiring experienced sales agents to originate and manage relationships with growth-stage SMEs. This role demands a deep understanding of SME cashflow dynamics, informal market ecosystems, and working capital financing.
Key Responsibilities for Direct Sales Agent Jobs in Lusaka
- Identify, source, and onboard qualified SME borrowers
- Conduct thorough business assessments and perform customer visits
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with merchants
- Drive growth of the SME loan portfolio while ensuring portfolio quality
- Assist with collections follow-up when necessary
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
- SME lending
- Microfinance
- Business banking
- Merchant acquisition
- Asset finance
Preference will be given to candidates with established SME networks within local markets, retail clusters, or trade ecosystems. A strong grasp of working capital lending, merchant finance, inventory cycles, and SME cashflow behavior is essential. Proven success in meeting loan disbursement and portfolio growth targets is required.
