Africa’s Gate Zambia is a fast-growing manufacturing and services company specializing in water production and food processing (tomato sauce, chilli sauce).
We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Factory Manager to oversee daily operations and drive efficiency in our production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day factory operations (water sachet, bottled water, and sauces production)
Manage production schedules to meet daily targets and demand
Supervise and coordinate factory staff (operators, loaders, cleaners, supervisors)
Ensure strict adherence to quality control and hygiene standards
Monitor machine performance and coordinate maintenance/repairs
Control production costs, minimize waste, and improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Work closely with management to scale production and improve systems
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Production Management, or related field
Minimum 3–5 years experience in a manufacturing environment (FMCG preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good understanding of production processes and quality control
Ability to work under pressure and meet daily production targets
Basic knowledge of machinery maintenance is an added advantage
