Role Overview for Stores Clerk Jobs in Luanshya

The Stores Clerk will be responsible for the efficient receipting and issuing of purchased goods and materials, ensuring continuous support for the company’s operational requirements. This full-time role demands accuracy and attention to detail to maintain seamless stock control and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and physically verify deliveries for correct quantity and quality
  • Process Goods Received Note Vouchers (GRNVs) accurately
  • Manage store issues by processing departmental requests promptly
  • Conduct regular stock counts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain housekeeping of open store requisitions
  • Support purchasing and other departments by communicating supply challenges impacting operations
  • Prepare reports and updates as required
  • Ensure compliance with all procurement policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in purchasing and stores management, preferably within the poultry industry
  • Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems
  • Experience with SAGE Evolution Accounting software
  • Full Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma or Degree in Stores Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain from a recognized institution
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and familiarity with procurement management systems
