Job description
We are seeking a detail oriented and deadline driven Management Accountant to join Bridging Gap Solutions (BGS) and support our Finance function. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis, and can work closely with senior finance leadership to deliver accurate and reliable financial information.
Role Overview
The Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring timely financial reporting, supporting budgeting processes, and tracking business performance. The successful candidate will contribute to generating financial insights that support informed decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow)
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in line with internal requirements
- Support preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, including consolidation
- Conduct variance analysis and support budget monitoring
- Maintain budget tracking schedules and reporting templates
- Track financial and operational performance indicators
- Support cost control initiatives and ensure budget adherence
- Provide detailed financial analysis and supporting schedules
- Prepare reports and commentary for management review
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
- Support improvements in reporting processes and standardization
- Assist in implementing financial controls within reporting processes
Minimum Requirements
- Full ACCA qualification (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to prepare full sets of financial statements
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
