Retail Store Supervisor
The Retail Store Supervisor will oversee the daily sales performance of the store, ensuring targets are met and operations run smoothly. This role requires leadership skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction aligned with Yalelo’s values.
- Supervise and monitor store sales performance and communicate sales goals to the team
- Ensure timely submission of sales reports according to company standards
- Lead customer service initiatives to provide an outstanding shopping experience
- Optimize resource use to maintain efficient store operations
- Protect and uphold the Yalelo retail brand and reputation
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven customer service experience
- Leadership experience; prior supervisory roles are an advantage
- Experience in FMCG industry is preferred
- Sales experience
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a relevant qualification is preferred
- Full Grade 12 Certificate
Retail Store Assistant
The Retail Store Assistant will support daily store operations by providing excellent customer service and maintaining store standards. This role is ideal for candidates with strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Help display products clearly and assist customers in locating items
- Promote store promotions to encourage sales
- Conduct regular price checks and resolve price discrepancies
- Address customer complaints professionally and promptly
- Maintain product knowledge to advise customers effectively
- Inspect stock for damages and monitor inventory levels
- Ensure store hygiene and compliance with PRIDE principles
- Assist in receiving and organizing stock using FIFO methods
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Experience in FMCG industry is an advantage
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience
