CIVIL ENGINEER

Africa Panorama Investment Group Limited is a diversified group with core operations in construction, real estate development, and overseas investment, supported by property management, landscaping, and project finishing services.

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise contractors during construction and maintenance works to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project specifications.

* ⁠Establish and maintain quality control and certification systems for construction projects.

* ⁠Develop and manage production tracking and reporting systems.

* ⁠Prepare detailed project schedules, activity plans, and cost estimates for in-house projects.

* ⁠Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design drawings and Bills of Quantities.

* ⁠Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards. 

* ⁠Design and implement inspection and quality assurance systems in line with contractual requirements.

* ⁠Coordinate contractors and subcontractors across project sites. 

* ⁠Prepare scopes of work and Bills of Quantities (BoQs). 

* ⁠Perform cost analysis and monitor project expenditures.

* ⁠Review and update working drawings to reflect “as-built” conditions upon project completion. 

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

* ⁠Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction (preferably real estate projects). 

* ⁠At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. 

Technical Competencies

* Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

* ⁠Solid knowledge of construction materials, methods, and equipment. 

* ⁠Proficiency in construction/project management software and scheduling tools. 

* ⁠Good understanding of structural design principles and calculations. 

Site Management Skills

* Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

* Strong knowledge of site safety practices and regulatory compliance. 

* Familiarity with quality control processes and procedures. 

Communication & Leadership.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

* Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and resolve conflicts. 

* Strong collaboration skills with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.
