Job description
Accent Innovations Group Limited seeks to recruit a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Lead to head its sales function and supervise a team of four (4) Sales and Marketing Executives.
The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker with strong leadership ability, a solid background in IT products, software solutions, and business development, and a proven track record of driving sales growth. This role requires someone who can lead from the front, build high-performing teams, and develop winning sales and marketing strategies.
Position: Sales and Marketing Lead
Location: Lusaka, Zambia
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the team of four Sales and Marketing Executives
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and ensure the team delivers results
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
- Oversee preparation of proposals, quotations, presentations, and negotiations
- Guide the team in marketing the company’s IT products, software solutions, and digital services
- Work closely with technical and management teams to align client solutions with business objectives
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews
- Represent the company in business meetings, networking events, and client engagements
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in IT, software, or technology solutions
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing sales teams
- Strong understanding of software solutions, ICT products, and enterprise technology services
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business portfolios
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and strategic planning ability
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions
Added Advantage
- Experience in B2B sales, enterprise software, systems integration, or managed IT services
- Existing network of corporate, government, or institutional clients
- Valid driver’s licence
