Accounting Manager Jobs in Lusaka – Role Overview

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s financial health and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. This full-time position, based primarily in Lusaka with occasional visits to Siavonga, requires a seasoned professional to manage financial operations and strategy.

Supervise all financial operations including reporting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance
Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, inventory valuation, and audit processes
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and the development of financial strategies to support business growth
Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Finance, ACCA/CIMA/ZICA certification, ZICA membership, and a minimum of 8 years’ experience preferably within manufacturing

Maintenance Manager – Siavonga Factory

This role focuses on maintaining operational excellence by ensuring plant reliability and efficiency. The Maintenance Manager will lead maintenance teams and oversee budgets and safety compliance to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Direct plant maintenance activities, equipment reliability programs, and operational efficiency initiatives
Manage maintenance systems, personnel, budgets, and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards
Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize production uptime
Qualifications: Engineering degree, 8+ years of manufacturing experience, and strong leadership capabilities
Accountant – Payables (Siavonga)

The Accountant – Payables will be responsible for managing supplier payments and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and Zambian tax regulations.

Oversee supplier payment processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Support month-end closing processes and maintain comprehensive financial records
Qualifications: Degree in Accounting or Finance, ACCA/CIMA/ZICA certification or currently studying, ZICA membership, and at least 3 years’ relevant experience
