CASHIER (x3)

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing: Itemizing and totaling customer purchases, processing cash/credit transactions, and issuing receipts.
Cash Management: Balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
Customer Service: Greeting customers, answering questions, resolving complaints, and providing information about products.
Sales Support: Assisting with sales, promoting items, and ensuring accurate pricing.
Returns/Exchanges: Efficiently managing product returns and exchanges.
Maintenance: Keeping the checkout area clean and organized.
Requirements and Qualifications

Education: Grade 12 certificate.
Experience: Previous experience as a cashier, with experience in sales or hardware being an added advantage.
Skills: Strong communication skills, accuracy in handling money, and the ability to work under pressure.
Location: Residing in Lusaka.

SALES ASSISTANT (x8)

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Customer Service: Actively help customers identify and purchase hardware products, offering detailed product information, features, and benefits.
Sales & Promotion: Meet or exceed sales targets by assisting customers in-store and managing sales follow-ups, including tracking quotes via phone calls.
3. Merchandising & Stock: Maintain clean, well-organized, and visually appealing sections (shelves, floors). Replenish stock and assist with loading items for customers.
Inventory & Cleaning: Perform stock takes and maintain up-to-date knowledge of product prices and inventory levels.
Marketing Support: Promote products through social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) to drive sales.
Requirements and Qualifications

Education: A full Grade 12 Certificate is required.
Experience: Experience in a similar sales position is an added advantage.
Skills: Strong communication skills (verbal and written), computer literacy, and ability to work in a team.
Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical appliances or general hardware materials is highly preferred.

 

EXTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE (x3)

Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition & Retention: Building long-lasting relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities.
Sales Strategy: Developing and implementing effective strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
Field Sales: Traveling to meet customers, conducting site visits, and promoting company products.
Negotiation & Closing: Presenting proposals and negotiating to close sales.
Reporting & Administration: Maintaining records of leads, accounts, and submitting regular sales reports to management.
Requirements and Qualifications

Education: Typically requires a Diploma/Certificate in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with knowledge of Ivend software often considered an advantage.

 

FRONT-END CONTROLLER (x2)

Customer Service: Managing the front end of the store to ensure a positive, welcoming experience for customers entering and leaving.
Operational Oversight: Supervising the sales floor, managing checkout, and managing customer inquiries.
Security & Loss Prevention: Monitoring customer activity to prevent theft, often working in coordination with CCTV operators or acting as a loss prevention point of contact.
Staff Coordination: Directing sales staff and ensuring efficiency during busy periods, such as opening new checkout aisles when necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications

Education: Grade 12 certificate.
Experience: Previous experience as a fronthend controller with experience in sales or hardware being an added advantage.
Skills: Strong communication skills, accuracy in handling money, and the ability to work under pressure.
Location: Residing in Lusaka.
