Assistant Gallery Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Assistant Gallery Managerwill assist in maintaining;

 

·        Management of gallery information technology and communications (ICT)

·        Operation of audio-visual equipment

·        Maintenance of gallery website and social media platforms

·        Assistance to gallery manager of day-to day operations of the NAG

·        Gallery public relations management

·        Developing client lists and databases

·        of gallery pieces

·        Planning, organizing and marketing exhibitions and shows

·        Ensuring the smooth running of the gallery

·        Organizing workshops and seminars

 

The candidate must have:

§ Minimum of a Grade 12 (Form VI) Certificate

§ Minimum of a diploma awarded by a recognized institution in any recognized area of Visual Arts and Crafts.

§ A degree in Fine Arts will be an added advantage  

§ Relevant work experience of at least 2 years for the Assistant Gallery Manager

§ Member of the Visual Arts Council (VAC)
