About the Role We are seeking a disciplined and highly organized Transport and Equipment Supervisor to oversee the efficient management of our fleet and operational equipment. This role demands a steady hand, someone who understands that machinery, like men, performs best under structure, maintenance, and accountability. You will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are operational, compliant, and utilized effectively to support business operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily transport operations and equipment usage Monitor fleet performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules Ensure all vehicles and equipment are serviced, roadworthy, and compliant with safety regulations Coordinate repairs and liaise with service providers and mechanics Maintain accurate records of vehicle logs, inspections, and equipment usage Manage drivers and operators, ensuring adherence to company policies Investigate and report accidents, damages, or misuse of company assets Optimize routes and equipment allocation to improve efficiency Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards at all times Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Transport & Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field Proven experience in fleet or transport management Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and equipment handling Valid driver’s license (preferably with experience in multiple vehicle classes) Excellent organizational and supervisory skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Key Competencies Strong leadership and decision-making ability Attention to detail and accountability Problem-solving mindset Good communication and reporting skills High level of integrity and professionalism
