About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tourism Operations Supervisor to oversee and coordinate tourism services within Kafue National Park. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality visitor experiences while maintaining strong alignment with conservation objectives and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily tourism operations, facilities, and visitor services
Supervise and support staff, including training and performance management
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Maintain tourism infrastructure and report maintenance needs
Analyse operational data and prepare reports
Support marketing, stakeholder engagement, and park promotion
Assist with budgeting, revenue collection, and financial accountability

Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Conservation, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in tourism or hospitality (protected area experience is an advantage)
Proven supervisory and customer service experience
Valid driver’s licence (no restrictions)
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and social media platforms)
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Knowledge of sustainable tourism and the Zambian tourism sector

Working Conditions

Combination of office and field-based work
Involves travel in remote areas and challenging terrain
