The company’s business scope covers resource exploration, mining, hydrometallurgy, sulfuric acid chemical industry, trading and mining investment. In recent years, CCM had sprung up in the mining industry in Zambia with outstanding performance; in particular, the “low-grade, complex and difficult ore-treating process” is a leading technology with great technical and economic advantages. China Copper Mines Limited is located in Fitula Mimbula, Chingola town, Copperbelt Province and is currently looking for candidates with good time management skills for the position of Human Resource Officer.

Job title: Human Resource Officer
Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with CCM standards and Zambian labor law.
Manage recruitment processes including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and on-boarding of new employees.
Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Assist in payroll coordination by ensuring accurate attendance, leave records, and employee data submission.
Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate staff training, performance evaluations, and development programs
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as NAPSA, NHIMA, PAYE, and other labor obligations.
Monitor employee welfare, accommodation, and logistics arrangements where applicable.
Prepare HR reports on staffing levels, turnover, absenteeism, and other workforce metrics.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Human Resource Manager, Administration Manager or Mine Manager.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
Knowledge of Zambian Labor Laws and employment regulations.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
ZHRM membership.
Grade 12 certificate.
Curriculum Vitae.
Valid silicosis certificate.
