Purpose of Role
Reporting to the Postmaster General, the Manager will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of ZAMPOST’s Travel and Tours services and Guest House. The role focuses on delivering high-quality hospitality and travel solutions while maximizing revenue, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to grow the Travel and Tours and Guest House operations into profitable business units.
Design and deliver domestic and regional travel packages, ticketing services, and corporate travel solutions.
Establish and manage partnerships with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other key stakeholders.
Oversee Guest House operations, ensuring high standards in accommodation, customer service, maintenance, and security.
Drive revenue generation through innovative pricing models, marketing initiatives, and business development activities.
Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure cost efficiency.
Enhance customer experience by maintaining service excellence and resolving escalated issues.
Lead, supervise, and develop staff to ensure high performance and service delivery standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional Certification in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality Management will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
