Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region. It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stock feed and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

LABORATORY TECHNICIAN – (NOVATEK MPONGWE) (1)

 The Required Skills for this Role Include:

Analyzing raw material samples using the NIR machine.
Analyzing finished feed products using the NIR machine.                                                          
Printing analytical results and sending them to relevant persons.                                                   
Reporting any non-conforming raw material and feed product to the Supervisor.         
Performing sieve tests on finished feed products.                                                   
Performing pellet durability test on pellet feed products.                                                                  
Recording the lab analysis and grading results of all raw materials sampled in the Zambeef utility
Indicating whether a truck has been approved for offloading in the utility.                          
Standing in for the Lab and Quality Controller and performing any other duties assigned by Supervisor when need arises.

The Required Qualifications are:

Grade 12 Certificate                                                            
Diploma Laboratory Science, Food Science, Biochemistry or Related field
2 years previous experience
