THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, attention to detail, and the ability to manage transport operations efficiently and safely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain absolute customer focus through clear communication, accurate tracking, and proactive updates.
Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally in collaboration with internal teams.
Manage journey planning, financial control, and driver cash flow to ensure smooth operations.
Oversee fuel allocation and accounting in line with company procedures.
Conduct trip briefings and debriefings within 24 hours of load/offload and ensure compliance with company standards.
Monitor disciplinary issues, driver handovers, and deductions with relevant managers.
Report vehicle faults and lead thorough accident/incident investigations with relevant departments.
Diligently monitor trips and vehicle tracking to prevent delays and ensure adherence to journey management protocols.
Accurately update SAP and TMS management systems in a timely manner.
Ensure full compliance with legal requirements and proper documentation for invoicing.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent vocational experience in Transport/Logistics.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Strong computer literacy and experience using online management systems (SAP/TMS preferred).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional administrative and organizational abilities.
