Reports To: Site Supervisor / Operations Manager

Job Summary

Goldenlay Agri Limited is seeking a skilled TLB Operator to operate a Tractor Loader Backhoe for agricultural and construction-related activities. The operator will be responsible for safe machine operation, loading, trenching, digging, and assisting with land development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operate the TLB machine for excavation, loading, trenching, and backfilling.
Assist with farm infrastructure development such as drainage systems, irrigation channels, and road maintenance.
Transport soil, gravel, manure, and other materials when required.
Conduct daily machine inspections before and after operation.
Ensure proper machine maintenance and report any mechanical faults immediately.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Work closely with supervisors and other site workers to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of the machine and work area.

Requirements

Proven experience operating a TLB machine.
Valid equipment operator certification or training is an added advantage.
Grade 12 Certificate is an added advantage.
Good understanding of equipment safety procedures.
Ability to work long hours and in outdoor farm environments.
Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting.
Physically fit and able to work in demanding conditions.
